Dear GOOD GUYS

“Good guys finish last” At least that is what people say, but I believe that is not true. Bad boys take girls away from good guys simply because good guys always and I repeat always play it safe. But then again we can wonder what kind of girl can be taken away so easily, that is a topic for another day though.

From my experience good guys are too safe, they don’t do things in the heat of the moment. Things must always be planned and it gets boring sometimes. Bad boys on the other hand are spontaneous, they are fun to be around and they always put their foot down about things they do not like. It’s great to be good , however good and boring do not go hand in hand.

As girls or should I say I personally want the attention, the love, the care and support that a good guy offers but I also want him to be spontaneous to live in the moment and not worry about tomorrow. I once dated a guy who was always worried about the fact that he was going to be leaving soon, everyday we talked about how he will be gone to a point where I was irritated. Why waste a today worrying about a day you might not live to see?

I recently had a chat with an old man who deems himself a good guy. In his opinion, guys who go partying cannot be taken seriously because according to him they are not focused and they are not the settling down type. I of course do not agree with him, going out and having fun does not make you a bad boy. Its high time so called good guys learnt that being boring does not make you a good guy.

So good guys stop being boring, live a little and continue taking care of us, loving us, being loyal to us and please do not be a doormat to any woman or anyone else for that matter.. Make things exciting, will you?
