Working with Lebogang Ditibane means that we get to shoot in the coolest of places because Lebogang is such well traveled photographer who has a 6th sense when it comes to spotting the best locations for photoshoots. Heading to Hartbeespoort Town at an abandoned bridge for a mini Ever Design photo shoot was one of the best ways to spend my December. The abandoned bridge overlooks the famous and breathtaking Hartbeespoort Dam and the mountain standing as a perfect backdrop for the shoot. Because dressing up is so fun I wore formal dresses by Everson Matewere a talented Malawian fashion designer who is based in Johannesburg. He makes beautiful dresses for all sorts of formal events.
Being on that short abandoned bridge wearing beautiful dresses and having one of South Africa’s best dams as a backdrop was so much fun and made me feel like I was one with the nature around me. The photo shoot was simply a fun activity to do while we chased the sunset for the perfect light while getting dope shots. I found that the graffiti on the wall added some character to my pose as I became friends with my inanimate purple horse.
