2 May 2014: Day 3 in Namibia

DSC_0252

There is no sleep. For people who literally slept at 5 am, by 10 am we have had breakfast and ready to explore Walvis Bay ( That is where we ended up) a town 30km outside of Swakopmund. We first went to the local taylor to do last minute touches on some outfits. We had a great time connecting with the taylors who turned out to be a family from Zimbabwe who have worked with big brands. It is always great to connect as Africans. We had a great time shooting at the shop while waiting for the outfits.

The Market at Walvis Bay

We had kapana on the busy street

The beach was so much fun with  some falling into the water and me doing a young photo shoot with some cool young boys ( future supermodels ). It was actually my first time at the beach so you can imagine my joy. This week presented a lot of firsts I must say. I had the best time .

The industry awards served as a reflection of what the Main Awards would be like and I must say that everything was on point and the people looked great, us included of course

I am an avid traveler with a background in copywriting, social media management, art exhibition and music festival curation. I am a huge bookworm who not only enjoys getting lost in books, but I also enjoy writing on topics such as travel, art and fashion. I am interested in working in any projects relating to copywriting for small businesses, fiction writing, curating exhibitions for visual artists in Africa. I am also keen to work with small businesses in developing their social media strategies. Africa is my first love and I am currently having a great time exploring her.
