50 Shades Of Grey Movie Premier

IMG-20150213-WA0016

Like every woman who has read the 50 Shades Of Grey Trilogy I was super excited for the premier of the movie yesterday. I was lucky enough to attend the premier at Ster-Kinekor at the Zone in Rosebank thanks to 4th Street and of course I would naturally go with my best friend. I was never ready for the umber of women I saw there, we were all ready to finally meet Mr Grey.

You know that when women meet, the atmosphere has to be accommodating with our favourite things. The premier did not disappoint. Ladies were pampered by Magwanani Spa, Morgan Taylor, 4th Street, Amarula and many others.

I would like to send a shout out to the lady who was running the True Love table, She is BOSS.

We also got interviewed by Lucky Radio, check out the interview on www.luckyradio.co.za as we talked about how 50 Shades of Grey has made us feel.

On the movie 50 Shades Of Grey:

Few movies adapted from books have actually lived up to the hype of the books. For me 50 Shades of Grey did not live up to my HIGH expectations. Firstly the chosen guy to play Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) does not have the sex appeal that the Christian Grey I imagined while reading the books has ( but then again it was my imagination). I feel the casting directors should have chosen someone else. Secondly. the acting was not convincing, it was bad, maybe they should cast different actors for the next movie or can the whole project entirely.

My favourite scene was when we got to see the “Red Room of Pleasure”( as I choose to call it) It was really nice to see what I had been imagining for sometime. I looks better than my imagination. Though the “toys”displayed are foreign to me they are fascinating and I absolutely want them. I also like that it has a little bit of comedy, it had us laughing a couple of times.

In a nutshell I was bored most of the time except, when my favourite lines were “recited”. With that said, you can still go and check out the movie, it might prove interesting to you. Remember we all have different tastes. So head to Ster-Kinekor and go enjoy yourselves.

PS: Don’t take your man with, you don’t want him to feel out of place surrounded by loads of women.
